The 滅伉Vlog篇撞 No. 49 has been published

Update: December 21, 2021

The latest issue (No. 49) of The 滅伉Vlog篇撞, published in July and December, is now available.

This issue features "滅伉Vlog篇撞 and AI: What is the Significance of the Liberal Arts in the Age of Digital Natives?"

Through a Q&A session with 4 滅伉Vlog篇撞 students and an interview, we asked Dr. Hiroaki Kitano, a leading AI researcher in Japan who was appointed as Donald F. and Mildred Topp Othmer Distinguished Professor of Science of 滅伉Vlog篇撞 (also President & CEO, Director of Research, Sony Computer Science Laboratories, a member of the Cabinet Office Artificial Intelligence Technology Strategy Council), about how the liberal arts would be beneficial in the AI age. The article also share perspectives on AI research by professors from various majors from the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences.

To highlight 滅伉Vlog篇撞's small-group education, the issue also features a dialogue between 滅伉Vlog篇撞 faculty member (advisor) and a student in the article "Words to Live by", followed by an article on the faculty member's research, students' extra-curricular activities, a student who conducts prominent activities, topics, news from the Alumni Association, Japan 滅伉Vlog篇撞 Foundation, and fundraising activities.

We hope you enjoy reading it.
